GAO Fiber Optics Releases Optical Loss Tester
Toronto, ON – GAO Fiber Optics Inc. has released a new Optical Loss Tester - GAO802. GAO’s Optical tester is an excellent instrument for testing Optical Return Loss (ORL) at two popularly used wavelengths: 1310nm and 1550nm. During fiber installation and maintenance, the optical loss tester will help technicians test connectors and components, find faults and check fiber quality for all types of optical applications.
The optical loss tester is ideally suited for use in telecommunications, CATV, WAN and LAN.
GAO802 optical loss tester provides for the precise measurement of optical loss, automatic wavelength identification functions, and the absolute power testing result in dBm.
The standard configuration of GAO802 tester includes dual wavelength laser source, memory capacity of 50 data items and high contrast backlit display for friendly interface. The GAO802 optical loss tester has a small footprint, simple button operation and low energy design including automatic power off after six minutes of non-operation.
